What are you listening to atm, /hobby/? Anonymous Comrade 10/23/2019 (Wed) 20:25:59 No. 1180
Currently listening to the album Matriarch by Veil of Maya. It's one of those albums thats shit on the first couple of listens but then it starts to grow on you and all of a sudden you're headbanging to the breakdowns.
I'm listening to Respawn Heaven by Dolphin Tears, it's a cool ambient tape with unique textures, utilizing a lot of washed out samples.
Lately I've been listening to "la trinca" non-stop, they are a catalan group that existed while the francoist dictatorship and also in the transition to democracy.
Their songs are mostly political satire and are pretty interesting to understand what it was like during that time in spain.

My Spotify playlist is a mix of folk metal, RABM, stoner rock, and shoegaze.

Whenever I am playing a vidya that needs too much concentration for me to be able to listen to podcasts / talky videos / Anwar Shaikh lectures I usually put on one of these in the background:

I would recommend Svartsot, Finntroll, Enisferum, Cruachan, and Korpiklaani. (All are in foreign languages except Cruachan, but that's how I like it.)

But Ensiferum songs are mostly in English?
Been alternating between the typical shit of grind and skramz with my new recent interest into exploring techno, the noisier and more industrial the better tho. also lmao op listening to deathcore that isn't the red chord smh pleb

Oh shit I posted two of the techno tracks under grind and skramz like a dummy
Just random city pop. I feel like my interest in music has declined so I just find something pleasant for background noise.

literal Nazbol music but it appeals to my aesthetic sensibilities. Mix of Russian folk and punk, low-fi, psychedelic elements, some outstandingly angry vocals at times...

Letov is great.

Also the entire East Euro prog/post-punk scene is worth checking out
Lately it's been all prog rock, industrial and black metal lately for me
